This piece marks the beginning of a very personal series of mandalas reflecting my kidney transplant, journey.
The ombré background moves from deep purple to teal and light sea breeze, green, a slow shift from heaviness to hope. It’s about those days when everything feels too much… and the quiet, hard one moments When you finally let go and breathe.
“The Long Exhale” is that pause – after the struggle, after the waiting, when your body and heart ask for peace. It’s not about being “on the other side“… it is about still being in it, but gentle are with yourself.
Art has become a place where I process, rest, and reconnect while I wait for a living kidney donor.
