“Whispers in the Blaze” moves from deep reds, oranges, to yellows, reflecting the moments when anger takes over on my kidney journey. Angry at the situation. Angry at the endless hoops. Angry at the vulnerability of having to share so openly, when I wish it wasn’t me.
The mirrors in this piece almost feel like shards– reflecting back that intensity, that heat, that raw frustration. But even in anger, there is movement, there is fire, there is energy that refuses to stay quiet.
